- SOURCES SOUGHT (MARKET SURVEY) NOTICE: The National Park Service, Contracting Operations Central, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, is conducting a market survey to assist the Contracting Officer in determining contractor interest in and capability to perform a potential upcoming project for Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Cuyahoga County, OH. SCOPE OF WORK: Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools, and other equipment necessary for the patching and two-inch asphalt overlay of approximately 112,400 SF of road and parking lot (to include repainting of markings upon completion) and the refurbishment of two under-road culvert systems and one parking lot drainage system at Cuyahoga Valley National Park. REFERENCE NUMBER: 140P6424B0009. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Anticipated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT & TIMELINE: Anticipated to be a firm-fixed price contract anticipated to be solicited in June 2024 and awarded to a prime contractor in July 2024 with performance to begin soon after award. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Cuyahoga County, OH will apply. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS code is 237310, and the size standard is $45.0M. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy determination (including type of set-aside) based on the results of this market survey and other market research. REGISTRATIONS: To be considered for a contract award, an offeror must have a Unique Entity ID and be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications by the time a solicitation closes. Offerors must also small business under the listed socio-economic categories under NAICS code 237310 to be considered/confirmed. This project will include all mobilization, work, labor, and materials necessary to complete this work to include prime/sub-contracting oversight. All specifications documents/drawings will be provided if/when the government proceeds with a formal solicitation. Interested contractors should also consider their construction bonding capacities when responding. Any information submitted in response to this market survey is voluntary and all costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the contractor. This market research is being conducted to acquire additional information about potential contractors that may be interested in performing this work. This is not an invitation for bid (IFB) or request for proposal (RFP) and does not constitute any commitment by the Government to issue any solicitation. All interested firms must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey. Any solicitation that may be issued will be posted on SAM.gov.
