- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for non-commercial�items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 36, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and no other written solicitation will not be issued. Instructions to offerors, (FAR Part 36) evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR Provisions and Clauses are attached. The solicitation number is�70Z02924QNEWO06 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clauses and Department of Labor Wage Rates for Construction are included in this order and are applicable. Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR Part 36, Legal Effect of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR Part 36 to be consistent with a request for quotations. This tailoring includes, but is not limited to the following: In accordance with FAR Part 36, a quotation is not an offer, and any clause provision to the contrary is hereby modified to be consistent with FAR Part 36. Where the word ""offer/offeror"" or a derivative of that word appears, it is changed to ""quote/quoter"" or a derivative of that word. This is a small business set aside, the applicable NAICS code is�238190 and PSC code is Z2AA This solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract�awarded to the offeror with the Lowest Price or in the best interests of the Coast Guard. Offerors must be actively be �registered in System for Award Management - https://www.sam.gov The USCG Station Pensacola has a requirement for the vendor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove and replace the following: All work in this contract shall be completed in Building 3760 Station Pensacola, Pensacola, FL Replace Entry Slide Gate and all existing signage. Build and install New 24' L x 41 1/2"" H Chain Link Slide Gate. Install New Safety beams from post to post both Entry and Exit gates Install new Edge Sensors on both Entry and Exit Gates Replace Video Access Control System and rusted out Goose neck Repair conduits/ Program and Train on Access Control System Install CELLULAR KIT FOR CELLULAR OPERATION. Contractor shall provide dumpster and shall be responsible for all cleanup of the project area.� Contractor shall be responsible for the removal of the dumpster once the project is complete. �Contractor shall protect all equipment and merchandise in work locations. �All work must be approved by the Contracting Officer�s Representative. Please see the attached Statement of Work for specifications of work, illustrations and POC�s for setting up site visits. 45�DAY ARO FOB Destination to: USCG Station Pensacola 21 Slemmer Ave Pensacola, FL 32508 FAR 52.237-1 - Site Visit (Apr 1984). Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
