- This is a Sources Sought notice. This is not a request for proposal and does not obligate the government to award a contract. All responsible businesses, including small businesses, are encouraged to respond to this RFI. The information requested by this RFI will be used within the FBI to facilitate the decision-making process and acquisition planning. The purpose of this notice is to gather information to determine the availability of vendors capable of providing FBI with commercial Bucket Trucks and warranty services.�� At this time, questions concerning requirements for a future RFP will not be accepted. E-mail responses to this RFI notice to Contracting Officer, Melissa Golicz at mgolicz@fbi.gov by 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), June 5, 2024.�� NOTE: Please reference �FBI BUCKET TRUCKS� in the subject line of the email response.� Capability statements shall not exceed ten (10) pages. Pages shall be standard size 8.5 x 11 inches, printed on one side (do not submit pages with print on both sides), and print shall be standard 10-point (or larger) font. Company information shall be submitted on the attached Excel spreadsheet titled, �FBI Bucket Truck Info Sheet� and shall contain the following information: Company name, point of contact, company address, telephone, email address, UEI number, CAGE code, as well as size category (large, small, small disadvantaged, etc.). The NAICS code for this requirement is 336120 Heavy Duty Truck Manufacturing, size standard 1500.� REQUIREMENT The (FBI) has a requirement for Bucket Trucks with the following options and capabilities. Potential is for 32 trucks over 5 years. Any brand names and/or models are for illustrative purposes only. The FBI is requesting Telescopic Articulating Bucket Trucks with the following features: Hydraulic impact drill Boom is insulated Outrigger options Hydraulic pole saw Hydraulic chain saw Some battery driven tools� Jobsite Energy Management System (JEMs) option Aluminum body Low Power Fiber Optic Control System (required) Back-up Alarm Altec models AT40-G, AT41ME and AT41PE, or equal. Specifically considering an IDIQ or BPA contract that would have the capability to provide four different models as described below. Possible model mix: Altec AT40G with outriggers Altec AT40G without outriggers Altec AT41ME model with outriggers and a two-man bucket Altec AT41PE model with outriggers and a two-man bucket Potential customization capability: Fall Protection System Trucks must be insulated Ladder racks A/C power source of some type (either generator or inverter) Exterior spotlight(s) Four-corner or other strobe lighting (over and/above boom strobe lights) Outriggers (additional options) Boom height Four-wheel drive Dual cab Interior rope lighting The FBI will not be responsible for any cost incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. Unsolicited proposals or offers of any kind will not be considered in response to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. At this time, questions concerning the composition and requirements of any future RFP regarding the purchase of Bucket Trucks will not be accepted or addressed by the government.�
