- N0016424RWP20 � SOLE SOURCE � ENGINEERING SERVICES AND SUPPLIES TO�SUPPORT THE AEGIS AN/SPY RADAR SYSTEM, MK99 FIRE CONTROL SYSTEM�(FCS), AN/SPS-49 RADAR SYSTEM, ASSOCIATED TRANSMITTER GROUPS AND ANCILLARY EQUIPMENT � PSC J012 � NAICS 541330 Synopsis Issue Date: 29 May 2024 � Synopsis Closing Date: 12 June 2024 � 2:00 P.M. EST Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) has a requirement for engineering�services and supplies to support AN/SPY radar system, MK99 fire control system (FCS),�AN/SPS-49 radar system, associated transmitter groups and ancillary equipment. The proposed contract action is for services and supplies for which the Government intends to�solicit and negotiate with one source, Raytheon Company; 1001 Boston Post Rd E, Marlborough,�MA, 01752-3770, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1)),�Only One Responsible Source. This is being sole sourced because Raytheon is the only source�capable of providing the required services and supplies in support of these specialized systems.�All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the�agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract�based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government.�Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether�to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government intends to enter into a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for services and�supplies with a five (5) year ordering period in support of the AN/SPY Radar, MK99 FCS,�AN/SPS-49 Radar, associated transmitter groups, and ancillary equipment. The anticipated�contract award maximum is estimated to be $49,000,000. Periodic reviews and synopsis of BOA�Job Orders will be performed by NSWC Crane. Individual Job Orders will specify requirements�and all applicable delivery terms and conditions. A Solicitation will NOT be posted to�https://www.sam.gov due to the sole source nature of the action. Job Order (JO) 0001 is anticipated to provide engineering services and supplies for the support�of the AEGIS AN/SPY Radar System, MK99 Fire Control System, Radar Transmitter Groups,�and Ancillary Radar System Equipment improvements, upgrades, capability enhancements,�qualifications, and transition to production. Miscellaneous supplies and travel may also be�included on JO 0001. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
