- A site visit will be held on Thursday, 13 June 2024, at 09:00 AM (EDT). See 52.236-27 SITE VISIT clause for details. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held via teleconference on Monday, 17 June 2024, at 10:00am EDT. The call-in number is: 1-844-800-2712, and the Access Code is: 1999 39 5620. It is requested that an email be sent to martha.g.sequeira@usace.army.mil no later than Thursday, 13 June 2024 at 03:00pm, EDT to confirm attendance to the call by your organization. Interested contractors are highly encouraged to attend and must follow conference registration and site access requirements shown in the solicitation. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract. The project, which is located at Duval County, Florida, consists of maintenance dredging at the Marine Corps Support Facility - Blount Island (MCSF-BI) from Station 0+00 to Station 56+09.1 with a 38-foot required Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW) maintenance depth plus two feet of allowable overdepth. The placement location of the dredged material will be Dayson Island Disposal Area (D/A-D). Additional work also includes environmental monitoring, turbidity and disposal monitoring, standby time, and partnering regroup. Bids are due on Friday 28 June 2024 @ 1:00 PM, EDT and Bid Opening will be held at 2:00 PM, EDT. NAICS Code is: 237990, Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities. The Small Business Standard is $37 million. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and 5,000,000.00. The expected period of performance associated with this requirement is: 120 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The contractor shall commence work within 60 calendar days of receipt of the NTP. THIS REQUIREMENT HAS BEEN SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. ALL RESPONSIBLE SMALL BUSINESS CONTRACTORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested vendors must REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR on the System for Award Management (SAM) website at https://sam.gov/.
