- GENERAL SCOPE: Provides leadership and administrative support for Protestant RE programs, events, and resource management for the Columbus AFB Chapel. The Protestant RE Coordinator works closely with the Wing Chaplain to ensure budgets, program schedules, publicity, and other program requirements are developed and implemented. �Period of Performance: ������������ Base: ���������1 Oct 24 � 30 Sep 25 ������������ Option 1:���� 1 Oct 25 � 30 Sep 26 ������������ Option 2:���� 1 Oct 26 � 30 Sep 27 ����������� �Option 3:���� 1 Oct 27 � 30 Sep 28 ����������� �Option 4:���� 1 Oct 28 � 30 Sep 29 ���� EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS. The Protestant RE Coordinator: Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the Protestant Faith and a commitment to the Protestant Faith. Must provide a resume and references validating education and experience requirements. Must have 1 years� experience coordinating and conducting Protestant RE events and other seasonal Protestant religious programs (e.g. Christmas and Easter lessons/classes). Must possess sufficient administrative skills necessary to produce bulletins and flyers, create and modify RE program/ministry documents, update and manage calendars, correspond via email and/or social media, and must have at least one year�s experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Publisher. Demonstrate a basic understanding of the spiritual growth process of individuals and groups in the Protestant Faith. Contractor must be able to clearly express basic Protestant doctrine. Demonstrate basic skill in money management related to the Protestant Religious Education programs to include creation and management of a budget, resourcing RE programs/classes, and managing special collections (e.g. contributions collected during RE events/classes for humanitarian relief, missions, ministry projects, etc.). Experience in the creation and distribution of publicity to include advertising in newspapers, writing worship service bulletin announcements, and utilizing other advertising resources (to include multiple forms of social media). Must be able to receive clearance from a background investigation IAW public Law 101- 647, Section 231 (Crime Control Act of 1990 and DODI 1402.5, Criminal History Background Checks on Individuals in Child Care Service Position). An adverse finding from this investigation may result in a termination of services. Contractor must be willing to work in a pluralistic environment where they may come in contact with members from various faith groups and/or viewpoints. Contractor will be professional and not denigrate individuals with a different religious perspective or viewpoint. The Contractor will be professional at all times.
