- This combined synopsis/solicitation for services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This synopsis/solicitation is being advertised as Small Business Set-Aside only. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; no separate written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is 30326PR240000002 Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) codes are: 238220� � � � �Plumbing, Heating, And Air-Conditioning Contractors This requirement is for a fixed price contract. �The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR part 13 and part 15 � The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, Best Value. � When submitting your proposals, request a price breakdown of the following: Cost of labor and supervision Cost of materials and equipment needed to perform the work. Prospective contractors shall also provide along with your proposal past performance documents which will be used to determine expertise to perform such work. Contract will be awarded to the vendor who can perform the work outlined in the provided SOW in the time frame needed by unit.� Past Performance and Cost factors will also be used when selecting the award. Bradenton, FL 34215 PART 1 PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Coast Guard requires a contractor fully qualified in the removal of 01 A/C unit (gym A/C) and the installation of 01 new unit, 01 air handler and proper insulation. Contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and necessary machinery to complete the work outlined. PART 2 DESCRIPTION OF WORK 2.1 Contractor will provide labor and material to: �������� a. Remove old A/C units and mounting hardware. �������� b. Installation of new A/C Unit 3 Ton/36,000 BTU �������� c. Removal of old Air Handler �������� d. Installation of new 3 Ton Air Handler ����������� e. Installation of proper insulation 2.2 Once work is complete, contractor will conduct operational tests to ensure proper operation. 2.3 Contractor shall dispose of all waste materials at their own expense and at a facility off the Station Cortez grounds. PART 3 PROTECTION OF COAST GUARD PROPERTY 3.1 Contractor shall bear all financial responsibility for all damages incurred while working on Government owned property. PART 4 PRE-WORK MEETING/WORK HOURS 4.1 Before start of work, the government shall hold a pre-work meeting to discuss the project procedures and work schedule. 4.2 The Coast Guard will hold the meeting at the site. The Coast Guard and the contractor will jointly agree upon the time of the meeting.� The meeting can be held on the same day that work commences. 4.3 Contractor�s working hour shall be scheduled at least two days prior to commencement. 4.4 Contractor should schedule the bulk of work during the hours of 0800 and 1600.� Work that requires accomplishment outside those hours shall be scheduled ahead of time through the Coast Guard. 4.5 Scheduling of work can be made through MK1 Brittany Roscioli, 631-603-8456. PART 5 QUALITY ASSURANCE 5.1 The contractor�s job shall not be considered complete until all removals of debris and installation of equipment are completed, and a satisfactory test is run. 5.2 Any work that does not meet the approval of the Coast Guard Contracting representative shall be corrected immediately. Part 6 LIABILITY 6.1. In no case will the Coast Guard assume liability for bodily injury to the contractor of his/her employees.
