- Notice of Intent to Sole Source Requirement Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 10, VA Indianapolis - 1481 W. 10th St, Indianapolis, IN 46202, intends to negotiate a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source for Sonosite PX Ultrasound System. The associated NAICS code for this is 334510. The vendor will be Fujifilm Sonosite Inc., (OEM), 21919 30th Dr, SE, Bothell, WA 98021. Description of Equipment or Supplies: 1 Sonosite PX Ultrasound System 1 Transducer, C5-1 1 Transducer, IC10-3 1 Sonosite PX Stand 1 User Guide (paper), Sonosite PX, English 1 Sonosite PX Service Manual 1 Sonosite PX Service Manual The Indianapolis VAMC is seeking specific brand name Ultrasound System for its Operating Room and GYN. The requested supplies must be compatible with existing equipment and maintenance requirements for that equipment. A firm fixed price contract with no option years is anticipated and shall be awarded. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
