In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source using single source procedures. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a single source, one-time award to purchase the following items: Item Number��� Description������� Quantity 00001��� MFG PN: ECP-04269-00 INDAGO BATTERY - STANDARD, GEN 1.5 IFS PN: 100024433����������� 123 EA 00002��� MFR PN: MCH-00448-01 BLADES (1 BLADE), PLASTIC, RH, W/ DOTS IFS PN: 100024118������ 800 PR 00003��� MFR PN: MCH-00449-01 BLADES (1 BLADE), PLASTIC, LH, W/ DOTS IFS PN: 100024117������ 800 PR Rational Basis for Use of Single Source Award Procedures: Lockheed Martin Procerus (LMPT) is the designer and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the Indago Unmanned Aircraft System and its peripheral accessories. These items are proprietary to LMPT and LMPT is the sole manufacturer. All products made and sold by LMPT are available strictly on a Commercial Basis in accordance with LMPT�s Commercial Terms and conditions of sale. The Batteries and Propeller Blades used upon the Lockheed Martin Indago III is a vital to the CBP mission for operations. The Batteries and Propeller Blades are proprietary to Lockheed Martin.
