- Description
- Q&A Are there any Specifications for this Solicitation? I don t have a list of specs for this solicitation currently. We are just seeking a comparable system that is reliable and low maintenance. Are there any Drawings and/ or As-Built Documentation for the existing PA system? I have added the only drawings that I have for the PA system. The scope in the solicitation states the new system will use existing speakers that have already been installed. Upon mobilization, the Contractor awarded this Project will likely test these speakers. If any are inoperative, will the replacements be added via a Contract Modification? We anticipate having a miniscule number of speakers with issues and we will address them internally if we find any. Can the Superintendent be shared across multiple projects, or should they only be dedicated full-time to this project? Yes, they can. Can the Superintendent fulfill multiple roles? Yes If so, can they also fulfill the Quality Control role? Yes Can they also fulfill the SSHO role? Not sure what this is?? Does the VA anticipate this project will require off-hours work? No, all work should be able to be performed during normal working hours (8:00am 4:30pm) If so, what trades or scopes will be required to perform off-hour work? N/A Is temp power available for contractors to connect to? The electric shop here at JC will be able to assist with any temporary power needs during installation. If yes, what are the locations where it is available? The electric shop here at JC will assist if needed. Can contractors work a four (4) tens schedule? As the COR of this contract, I don t see any issue with a vendor working a (4) ten schedule. Is this a tax-exempt project? This will be a tax-exempt project. If tax-exempt, will the government provide a tax-exempt certificate to the Prime Contractor for subcontractors and vendors? The Contracting Officer should have requested documentation.
