Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8, hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm fixed, contract to Sun Nuclear Corp 3275 Suntree Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32940-7514. SunServices Premier Support - SunCHECK Machine, SunServices Premier Support - SunCHECK Machine Non-Linac, SunServices Premier Support - SunCHECK PlanCHECK is being procured for the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL 33596-4745. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 13.106.1(b) ""Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized."" The contract will be a firm fixed price contract with the NAICS Code of 513210 with a small business size standard of $47 Million. A Sole Source Justification has been prepared. The base period of performance shall be 12 months-from date of award-with four, one-year, option periods. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In addition, responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement that proves by the preponderance of the evidence that another contractor can provide a service contract on Sun Nuclear Radiation Therapy QA Equipment and services for James A. Haley Veterans Hospital. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 pm EST on, May 22, 2024. No telephone inquiries or emails with questions will be accepted.
