Description
RFI Title: C5ISR / EW Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS) Mounted Form Factor (CMFF) Tactical Radios Areas of Responsibility RFI Introduction: This RFI is for market research purposes only. The submission of information to the Government is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any items/services, or for the Government to pay for the information received. This CMFF RFI is part of a continuing market research effort by PM Tactical Radios to keep industry informed of CMFF Tactical Radios Capability Set design decisions and strategy. This RFI also includes a CUI draft Statement of Need (SoN), available upon completion of the steps in Instructions For Access To CMFF Technical Documentation below. To Respective vendors-RESPONSE - The Army Contracting Command (ACC), through Consortium Management Group (CMG), has released a Request for Information (RFI) regarding the Draft Statement of Need (SON) for project C5-25-1001, C5ISR/EW Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS) Mounted form Factor (CMFF) Tactical Radios Capability from Product Manager (PdM) Helicopters and Multi Mission Radios (HAMMR) to members of the Consortium for Command, Control and Communications in Cyberspace (C5). *** C5 Membership is required to respond to this RFI. Responses to this RFI MUST be submitted through the C5 Consortium. For information on joining the C5 Consortium, please visit https://cmgcorp.org/c5/. RFI responses be submitted through CMG to the Government. All responses must be submitted to contracts@CMGcorp.org no later than 1700 Eastern 14 June 2024. *** CMFF uses the open hardware architecture framework, OpenVPX, for fielding capabilities via cards in a common CMOSS compliant chassis. CMFF uses the Vehicular Integration for C5ISR/EW Interoperability (VICTORY) standards to provide network-based interoperability using shared services such as switching and Assured Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT). CMFF also uses the Modular Open RF Architecture (MORA) for functional decomposition to share RF resources such as antennas and amplifiers (Radioheads) using standard interfaces defined by MORA, and software frameworks that include REDHAWK, Software Communications Architecture (SCA), and Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) to enable software portability. Each CMFF chassis will contain one or multiple Software Defined Radio (SDR) cards for Tactical Communications and Cryptographic Subsystem (CSS), and external connectivity to one or more Radio Heads (processor, power amplifier, low noise amplifiers, and RF antenna(s), and a VICTORY Audio Adapter. A Lead Prototype Integrator will be responsible for the integration of the prototype hardware into a CMFF compliant chassis (GFE). This RFI is focused on the communication tasks of this CMFF system, namely: 1) Digital SDR card to support the SINCGARS, WREN TSM, ATC (VHF/UHF LOS AM/FM), and Maritime VHF waveform applications 2) Cryptographic Subsystem (CSS) card 3) Digital Radiohead(s) (RHDs) using digital inputs 4) VICTORY Audio Adapter 5) Lead Prototype Integrator (LPI) for the integration of these components into a Govt provided CMFF chassis **This is a market survey requesting information only. The submission of this information is for planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any items/services, or for the Government to pay for the information received. No solicitation will be issued against this notice.**
