Description
Questions and Answers Question 1: Who is the Current Incumbent? When does the current contract end? Government Response: This is a first-time requirement for this location. There is no incumbent contractor. Question 2: Are any Bridge Contracts in place that extend the current contract? Government Response: There are not bridge contracts in place. Question 3: What is the last contract award number and total award amount? Government Response: This is a first-time requirement for this location therefore there is not a contract number or award amount to provided. Question 4: Can the unit listed in the Price/Cost Schedule be modified from EA to reflect a per Month rate of 5 bins with a Recycle Report that reflects the amount of bins per week that was serviced? Government Response: The unit of measure will not be changed from EA to MO . The price schedule is to obtain the unit price per bin. The minimum number of bins is three (3) with a maximum number of bins is five (5). The payment terms for this contract will be billed monthly in arrears. Question 5: Can service date be scheduled on Tuesdays instead Thursdays? Government Response: As long as service occurs one day per week, the day can be scheduled post award. Question 6: Will there be non-paper media and paper destruction? If non-paper media will there be an additional CLIN for this service with a NTE per bin Rate? Government Response: Staples and fasteners no CLIN for this. Question 7: Can there be an additional CLIN due to the request for the addition of containers with a NTE amount per bin rate? Government Response: An additional line item will not be added in. The maximum number of bins listed in the requirement is five (5). Question 8: Please include VA Directive 6371 Destruction of Temporary Paper Records (April 8, 2014) into the solicitation. Government Response: VA Directive 6371 Destruction of Temporary Paper Records applies with to this requirement and is attached to the amendment for reference. Question 9: Will the Agency stage the Bins prior to shredding trucks arrival? Government Response: No. Response date has hereby been updated to Friday May 17, 2024 at 2:30pm.
