- Sources Sought Notice REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in, and the resources to support this requirement for Fire Alarm Panel Upgrade at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center at 1700 N. Wheeling St, Aurora CO 80045. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 561621 Security Systems Services, Small Business Size Standard: $25.0 Million. This is a request for information and sources only, which may or may not lead to a future solicitation! This is not a solicitation. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, supplies and equipment necessary to perform Fire Alarm Panel Upgrade shall include but are not limited to: OVERVIEW The contractor shall provide the labor and material to replace the existing data center fire alarm panel and replace or retrofit connected devices at VA Rocky Mountain Regional Medical Center (RMRMC) campus located at VA Medical Center, 1700 N Wheeling Street, Aurora, CO 80045. MANDATORY TASKS AND MATERIALS: The contractor shall use all specified material as well as complete all tasks listed below. Furthermore, the contractor shall furnish all materials, tools, and equipment to perform services for this requirement. Materials: Quantity: (1) Honeywell Notifier NFS-320 Intelligent Addressable Fire Alarm Control Panel, or better. Control panel must be compatible with the current fire alarm system. Control panel must be compatible and fully integrate with ONYXWorks NOTIFIER by Honeywell. Control panel must have a battery backup and surge protection. Control panel must have the ability to connect to single-mode optical fiber. Quantity (14) Notifier by Honeywell FSP-951 smoke detectors. Including all required mounting hardware. Quantity (6) Notifier by Honeywell FRM-1 Intelligent Control and Relay Modules. Quantity (5) Notifier by Honeywell FMM-101 Intelligent Monitor Modules. Quantity (2) Notifier by Honeywell FCM-1-REL Releasing Control Module. Quantity (2) Notifier by Honeywell NBG-12LR Releasing Pull Stations. Quantity (2) Direct Fired Impulse Actuator (DFIA) kits. Quantity (4) 10-Amp 24 VDC 110 VAC Relays. Quantity (2) LENS-R2 Red lenses for speaker/strobe, wall mount. Any other components required to complete the project, maintain all existing functionality, and integrate connected devices with ONYXWorks. Scope: Contractor shall replace the Fike Cheetah Xi panel located in room GP-103. Contractor shall replace or retrofit all Fike Cheetah equipment connected to the control panel. Contractor shall connect all wire inside the fire alarm system control panel, at devices, annunciator panels and remote power supplies provided by the contractor. Contractor shall install any required wire, system devices, and raceway to complete the project. Contractor shall test all functionality and provide a commissioning report to the VA. COMPETENCY AND CERTIFICATION OF PERSONNEL SERVICING EQUIPMENT Contractor shall demonstrate relevant years of experience installing and/or performing maintenance including installing master remote modules. Must be able to demonstrate experience with Anixter equipment. Please be advised it is the potential contractor s responsibility to submit any and all licenses and certifications for the employees they plan to utilize for this project with the quote they submit. Moreover, at any time during the period of performance the COR reserves the right to request copies of contractor employee certifications, licenses, etc. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION, and multiple awards MAY be made.
