- USCG Aircraft Colors and Coatings Application Training Course This Sources Sought Notice is issued by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) for informational, market research, and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ) to be issued in the future. No contract award will be made based on any responses to this notice. The Government is not responsible for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought Notice and no reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with effort expended in responding to this notice. Submission of proprietary information is not requested, and respondents shall refrain to the maximum extent practical from providing proprietary information in response to this Sources Sought Notice. If respondents volunteer to provide proprietary information, clearly mark such proprietary information appropriately and separate it from the unrestricted information as an appendix. Reponses to this Sources Sought must be received no later than 1200 AM, Eastern Time (ET), on Friday, June 07, 2024. Telephone responses will not be accepted. CG-41 Military Aircraft Intermediate Paint Application Training The Coast Guard employs a bi-level aviation maintenance structure consisting of depot level maintenance and operational level maintenance.� At the operational level, Coast Guard Aviation Technicians perform as-needed repairs to aircraft paint for reasons such as corrosion inspections and airframe damage repairs. The requirement is for a formal, resident training course covering military aircraft paint application. The attached Performance Work Statement outlines the requirements and specifics of the needed training.�
