Description
Details for this solicitation are contained in the attached solicitation document.� Amendment 0001- update to 100% Small Business Set Aside, Clarify Period of Performance as 21 Aug 2024 - 19 Nov 2024. Responses to this solicitation are due by 10 May 2024, 16:00 Hawiian Time.� Amendment 0002- Clarify that the location is restricted to a 50 mile radius from the Cutter's homeport. Update pricing sheet to correct Work Item Numbering.� Amendment 0003 - Resolve the following questions:� Please provide the location of all of the 294 zinc anodes listed in the first row of Table 1.� The location provided is ""Various Location on Hull"".� Based on the references provided, it appears that some of the zincs may be located in tanks.� If tank access is required, please provide the following information: a. List of tanks that will need to be accessed. b. Requirements for accessing tanks (e.g. do all gaskets and hardware need to be replaced for each tank access cover?) c. Contents of each tank (type of fluid and qty of fluid for KTR to dispose) d. Stability concerns relative to docking condition?� Can the tanks be pumped to low suction prior to docking, or will they need to be pumped to low suction in dock? Please refer to Rev-1 specification for changes. Table 1 has been updated to address zinc locations per drawing 750-WMSL-633-500. Drawings 750-WMSL-167-001 and 750-WMSL-501-004 have been added to address tank locations, access, and tank contents. Will work with ship to have affected tanks pumped down to low suction prior to docking.� Revision 1 of the Specification file is attached.� Additionally, the comment��FORESEEABLE COST FACTORS PERTAINING TO DIFFERENT SHIPYARD LOCATIONS� remains in this solicitation.� Amendment 0004 - Resolve the following question:� USCG known service provider notes that ASNT Lvl. III analyst requirement is for the wrong 3D scanning industry. ASNT is used for 3D SIDESCANs and not 3D Hull scans. Please clarify or delete this requirement. -�ANST Level III is not required. Please see Revision 2 Specification for details. (Spec Rev 2 is attached) Amendment 0005 - answers multiple questions (details on Amendment file), specification file updated and moves out the respond by date to 17 May 2024
