Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source� The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) intends to solicit and negotiate a noncompetitive contract with DNASTAR, Inc. (UEI MM8CFNUNTBL7), a small business, using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.��� The objective of this acquisition is to obtain a service contract for Lasergene site license software updates and support by DNASTAR, Inc. USDA contemplates a firm-fixed-price contract. See attached specifications and Single Source Justification.�� This notice of intent is not a solicitation. However, all responsible sources may submit a response which shall be considered by the agency. Responses must include clear and convincing evidence of the offeror�s capability of fulfilling the requirements as specified. Responses must be submitted by email to Kathy Melby at kathleen.melby@usda.gov no later than June 6th, 2024. Telephonic inquiries will not be honored. Responses received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.�
