Description
Amendment 0002 provides Questions and Answers Received: Question 1: To confirm, PM services is for 3 wells each year and does not include removal of the well pumps correct? Answer: PM Services (covering all 3 wells for each year of service performed) are as follows per the Statement of Work: 1. Preventative Maintenance Services 2. Inspection of components: Valves, Pump Base, Airlines, Etc. 3. Report on Existing Pump Performance, Comparison with Design 4. Pump Vibration Inspection/ Assessment 5. Recording of Motor Electrical Data (Running Amps, Voltage) 6. Changing of Motor Oil and Gear Drive Lubricants 7. Repacking of Stuffing Box 8. Provide pump installation sheets and hydraulic data sheets UMESC facility Technical Liaison (TL). Should the performance of these services require removal of the well pumps, then well pump removal shall be included as part of the work. Question 2. To confirm, in the base year only Well #3 is to be televised but optional additional years 1-4 TV would include all 3 wells so those would be Qty. 3 for bidding purposes? Answer: Camera inspection services for option years would be for one of the wells in that option period. This would be a separate option should the Government choose to televise one of the wells in a given option year. Question 3. It will be necessary to remove the well pump to televise. Should the cost to remove the pump and then reinstall the pump be included in the Camera Inspection line item or in the optional motor & pump rehabilitation line item? Answer: Should be in the camera inspection line item. Provide separate pricing within the line item for the motor/pump removal and well televising. Question 4. The optional well cleaning/rehabilitation line item would be per well with a qty of 3 for bidding purposes each year? Answer: Pricing for well cleaning/rehabilitation shall be per well with a qty of 1 per year for bidding purposes. Question 5. The optional well cleaning/rehabilitation line item include will also require pump removal and inspection. Should this be included in this line item or in the motor & pump rehabilitation line item? Answer: Should be in the camera inspection line item. Provide separate pricing within the line item for the motor/pump removal and well televising. Question 6. The optional motor & pump rehabilitation line item would again be Qty. 3 for each year correct? Answer: Pricing for well cleaning/rehabilitation shall be per well with a qty of 1 per year for bidding purposes. Question 7. The optional motor & pump rehabilitation line item should include pump reinstallation correct? Answer: Yes, motor & pump rehabilitation shall include reinstallation of the motor and pump Question 8. The optional motor & pump rehabilitation does not include and repairs as those would be determined after inspection correct? Answer: Correct
