Description: Snow sampling tube sets to replace sample sets across�the NRCS Snow Survey and Water Supply Forecasting Program (SSWSF), and for training aids for the annual West-Wide�Snow School. Snow Sample Sets must have a cutter bit inside diameter of 1.486"" to ensure that commonly used scales will�accurately measure the Snow Water Equivalent (SWE) contained within the snowpack. Snow tubes must be constructed in�compliance with specifications provided by the SSWSF.
