Listed below you will find the salient characteristics of the Interacoustics Eclipse EP Balance System. Eclipse hardware, ECochG module kit - license, VEMP license: Interacoustics Eclipse EP Balance System with VEMPs system allows VA Medical to measure and analyze the vestibular evoked myogenic potential (VEMP) generated by a loud stimulus. The VEMP investigates otolith and vestibular nerve function. The VEMP is a short-latency electromyographic (EMG) potential and it is evoked in response to high-level acoustic stimuli. The responses are mediated by the vestibular system. It provides ear-specific information about otolith and nerve function, which in combination with VNG testing provides a more comprehensive evaluation of the vestibular system.
