- PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Acquisition Management System (AMS) procurement guidance, T3.13.1 Other Administrative Procedures Revised 1/2009 4 Press Release and Public Announcement of Award Revised 7/2021 - c. Public Announcement and T3.2.2.4 - Single Source - 3 Award of Single Source The purpose of this public announcement is to inform industry of the FAA�s intent to award a Single Source contract to Peraton Services & Solutions, Inc., 12975 Worldgate Drive, Herndon, VA� 20170. The requirement to provide the FAA operational and maintenance support to the Command-and-Control Communications Division for the Crisis Management System (CMS) secure audio/visual and teleconference (AV/VTC) suites FAA uses in real-time missions and crisis support situations. CMS operates on multiple classification levels including the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication System (JWICS), Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN), and Distributed Continuity Integrated Network (DCIN)-Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS-ES), up to the Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) level. This work includes supporting the sustainability of the overall system and the integrated secure communications equipment, applications, and programs. Specific responsibilities include inventorying existing equipment, recommending equipment upgrades and replacements, recommending and performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting and solving system performance issues. The current source code for the control system of the AV/VTC suites is owned by Peraton and Peraton is the only vendor that can update or modify the control code for the system. �Peraton developed the source code and owns it exclusively. �Peraton designed, tested, installed, and maintained the FAA�s CMS AV/VTC environment since inception. Further, Peraton is uniquely and solely qualified for this effort as Peraton has provided the engineering design and operational support for the CMS program for over 30 years. The contract�s period of performance is a one (1) base period with a four (4) one (1) year option periods. This announcement is for informational purposes only and not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. This requirement will be awarded to Peraton Services & Solutions, Inc and is not available for full and open competition.
