Description
The attached draft documents are being posted to allow for industry review and/or feedback. Location: Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona Title: Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) The MACC is a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract including, but not limited to, the following construction disciplines/categories: electrical, mechanical, painting, architecture/engineering design, airfield and road paving (asphaltic and concrete), flooring (tile work/carpeting), roofing, structural repair, fencing, HVAC, plumbing systems, utility distribution and collection systems (electrical, water, waste water, storm water, natural gas) and fire suppression/protection systems.� All work shall be accomplished in strict adherence to the contract documents and industry or regulatory standards, identified by individual Task Orders. The performance location is at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. 355th Contracting Squadron is seeking information concerning the availability of 8(a) contractors capable of providing the following: Description of Work: The contractor shall furnish all management, personnel, vehicles, supplies, equipment, etc. required to perform work. The general scope of the requirements will be to perform multiple task orders at one time, conducting repair and renovation of buildings. Work may include but is not limited to any of the following: repair, replacement and construction of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing or fire protection and detection systems; concrete pavement; asphalt pavement; utility distribution and collection systems (electrical, water, waste water, storm water, natural gas); repairs related to building renovation or demolition; interior remodel work including carpentry, painting, floor and wall covering; renovation of historic structures; repair or replacement of infrastructure systems; correction of drainage problems; repair or upgrade of structural problems, including seismic upgrades; repair or replacement of roofing, siding, windows, doors or other miscellaneous architectural elements, etc. Work may be accomplished in different types of facilities including: administrative, industrial, warehouses, hangars, etc. This acquisition will require a contractor with experience and expertise capable of managing multiple task orders simultaneously, which will require construction scheduling, cost estimating, quality control, and coordination of subcontractors in a wide variety of construction trades. The selected contractor will be required to hold all applicable licenses, permits, registrations and/or certificates, and any other items necessary to perform work; and will be responsible for ensuring that any subcontractors hold the same. �A solicitation may be available in mid-2024; therefore, do not request a copy of a solicitation at this time.� The United States Air Force is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals.� This acquisition is being considered to be Set-Aside for eligible 8(a) Small Business concerns.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 and the small business size standard is $45 million.� Period of performance will be for a base period of five (5) years and two (2) one-year option periods, estimated to start July 2024.�� ����������� Feedback responses can be submitted electronically to Mr. Joshua Drawdy at �joshua.drawdy.2@us.af.mil and not later than 10 May 2024.� Be advised the government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to notice.� All cost associated with this notice will be solely at the expense of the respondents.� Additionally, all submissions become government property and will not be returned.� No basis for a claim against the government shall arise as a result from a response to this notice.
