- Description
- The Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Supplies, Services, and Material Management Division (SSMMD) is issuing Request for Proposals (RFP) # AOCSSB24R0006 for Gun Range Air Filter Replacement for the Rayburn House Office Building Capitol Police Firing Range.� It is anticipated that this RFP will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract, to a responsible Offeror actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and whose proposal provides the overall best value to the AOC in accordance with the requirements set forth by this solicitation and the Statement of Work (SOW).� This solicitation will use the procedures in AOC Contracting Manual � 9.1 Negotiated Acquisitions.� The AOC Contracting Manual can be found here:� https://www.aoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-01/AOC-Order-34-1_Contracting-Manual-2022.pdf The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238220 � Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors.� The Product Service Code is 6007: Filters.� The contract period of performance will be 1 base year and 4 one-year options, for a total of five years from the date of award if all options are exercised.� Also, FAR 52.217-8 will be applicable to the contract. The List of Attachments is in Section J of Standard Form 33 (SF33). The Base Period of Performance for the purposes of this RFP, is anticipated to start on 07/01/2024, dates will be adjusted accordingly based on the award date of the contract. There is a mandatory site visit for this RFP, offerors who do not attend the site visit will not be considered for award, the site visit information is as follows: Date: April 29, 2024 Time: 10:00 AM EST Location: Rayburn House Office Building, 45 Independence Ave SW, Washington, DC 20515, meet at the front entrance on the Independence Avenue side. Offerors are limited to 3 individuals to attend the site visit, this includes subcontractors. All individuals attending the site visit shall sign in on a government provided sign in sheet, which will ask for the individuals� names and company name. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products / services as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
