- Portsmouth Naval Shipyard seeks to award a single contract to a company capable of providing the rentals of (1) 6K# and (1) 30K# Forklift for Naval Base Point Loma in San Diego, CA in accordance with the Statement of work contained within the Request for Quote (RFQ), see� Attachment- N3904024Q2804 RFQ. Responders to this solicitation must be able to meet the following criteria: 1. Entity is capable of meeting ALL specifications outlined in the Statement of Work within the Request for Quote. 2. Entity has an active CAGE code, and current registration in the System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov) 3. Entity does NOT appear on the Excluded Parties List. REQUEST FOR QUOTE: Understanding what a Request for Quote (RFQ) is communicating/requesting is crucial to a vendor's ability to understand the Government's need, to provide competitive pricing, reduce chane that a quote will be found technically unacceptable and will ensure a successful contract after award.
