- This amendment answers the following vendor questions posed during the walkthrough on 04/10/2024 and provide a copy of the sign in sheet: In rooms 138C and 139C do ceiling removal work include removing the tracking? Yes What is the composition of the partitions to be removed in rooms 138C and 139C? Steel studs In rooms 138C and 139C, what is the floor to deck height? 12ft Does the mastic need to be removed in all locations even if it does not contain asbestos? Yes, all mastic needs to be removed by the contractor. What are the containment requirements in locations containing asbestos? All containment shall be performed in accordance with local ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment), the contractor may build their containment structure into the hallway and negative air can be vented out the window. How many mobilizations are to be expected? Rooms B1 and 929D/D1 are occupied and it is unsure when they will be available to be worked on. As a result two or possibly three mobilizations will be required. In room B1 does the rubber cove base need to be removed along with the carpet? Yes Can you provide guidance in regards for procedures for removal of both contaminated and non-contaminated debris. All construction debris shall be transported from the room being demolished to the dumpster in covered containers to avoid any dust being distributed throughout the hospital. The contractor shall only use elevators 7,8,9,10 to transport any construction debris and brought directly to the loading dock. 9. in rooms 635D/637D/638D what are the partition walls made of? A. Masonry and plaster 10. What is the requirement for skimming and finishing walls? A. Contractors are only required to go as high as the level of the drop ceiling. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
