Description

The U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Indian Energy Policy, and Programs(IE) plans to issue a standalone contract to National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL).� NCSL possesses vital knowledge and awareness of IE�s mission to maximize the development and deployment of energy solutions for the benefit of American Indians and Alaska Natives. This is vital to ensuring continuity in planning and implementing� Indian Country Energy and Infrastructure Working Group (ICEIWG) and IE�s Tribal Clean Energy Summit (Summit). The Government intends to award a sole source contract to NCSL. The period of performance for this award will be one (1) year from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.� There will be one additional one-year option period after the base period. This is a NOTICE OF INTENT; no solicitation is available for this requirement.� If a firm believes DOE should not pursue this sole source procurement with the NCSL, then interested parties may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency NO LATER THAN 15 days from posting date via e-mail to Sirron Scott, Sirron.Scott@hq.doe.gov. The written response must include a general statement for the services indicated in this announcement and past performance client information for a similar product. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this requirement competitively in the future. No solicitation is available for this requirement.
