- The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - Pacific intends to make a sole source award to Abbott Laboratories for a firm fixed-price contract (Blanket Purchase Agreement) for Clinical Chemistry and Immunoassay Reagents with use of Analyzers for Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii. The NAICS code for this procurement if 325413. The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(i) which authorizes the government to award contracts when there is only one responsible source and no other suppliers will satisfy agency requirements. This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirement under FAR 5.201 and 5.203. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
