THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY; THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This pre-solicitation notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of the synopsis. It does not constitute as a solicitation for bid or quotes, and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government.� The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source, firm fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2).� The PHNSY & IMF indents to solicit to Defense Maritime Solutions to provide assistance for cleaning, inspection, and repair support for the Propulsor 1A and Leading Edge Ring onboard a Virginia-Class Submarine.� In accordance with DFARS PGI 206-302-1, a sources sought notice, N32253-24-Q-0044 was posted to the U.S. Government Point of Entry (GPE), SAM.gov from 9 April 2024 - 11 April 2024 to determine whether other sources could satisfy this requirement. The Government did not receive any responses to the sources sought posting. This pre-solicitation does not constitute as a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for any costs incurred.� This posting serves as a pre-solicitation notice in association with N32253-24-Q-0044 and in accordance with FAR 5.204.� A solicitaiton is expected to be posted on or about 12 April 2024.�
