- Description
- Clinic Consortium for HIV Implementation Research and Prevention (CCHIRP) This is a Request for Information (RFI) to solicit feedback from industry stakeholders. The Government is currently conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 and seeks to understand market capabilities and/or restricvtive barriers which may prevent the industry from meeting agency needs. Service Description: The Centers for Disease & Control (CDC) and HIV Research Branch (HRB) is proposing the establishment of a Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract. This contract will support increased PrEP and other HIV prevention measure use by persons in priority populations by issuing individual task orders for conduct of implementation research in healthcare systems and clinical care setting (e.g., academic clinic networks, retail clinic networks, integrated healthcare systems). Research will assess strategies to increase the reach, effectiveness, and efficiency of biomedical HIV preventive care. Biomedical prevention includes PrEP, nPEP, and associated healthcare services such as HIV and STI testing and patient education and support counseling provided in clinical care settings. Sources that can meet the requirements of this contract are those with demonstrated experience in conducting implementation research, including HIV prevention research. Effective completion of the tasks in this IDIQ will require that the contractor(s) are a healthcare system or clinical practice network such as an academic clinic network, retail clinic network, or integrated healthcare system that provide care to a patient population comprised of at least 50% Black persons.. The CDC and HIV Research Branch aims to refine the requirement so that maximum participation of interested and capable vendors is possible. Please refer to Attachement 1, Statement of Work (draft) and Attachment 2, RFI Response Form. Government Point of Contact: Vendors may submit their feedback to Mark Wirtz, Contract Specialist, at mag8@cdc.gov no later than 2:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 and include CCHIRP RFI Response in the subject line. Interested vendors are welcome to provide their capability statements in addition to the RFI responses. Information received in response to this notice will be considered solely to conduct informed decisions regarding the potential procurement strategy of this requirement. Release of this notice should not be construed as such a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. Proprietary information shall not be provided. All submitted information shall remain with the U.S. Government and will not be returned.
