- PA LAMAR NFH & NE FSHRY CTR GENETICS LAB Title: Sources Sought - Construct Genetics Laboratory Building Design/Build Services Description: Design-Build project for conceptual design, final design, and construction of a fully accessible, stand-alone Genetics Laboratory building near the existing Genetics Laboratory at Lamar NFH in an area that previously was fish production ponds. See attached Statement of Work. Purpose: In search of public engagement through a Sources-Sought Notice to determine the capabilities and participation interest of eligible firms of all small business types regarding a formal solicitation of the requirement noted herein. Please note that this is NOT an Invitation for Bid or a Request for Proposal. The Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue additional announcements or solicitation documents. The US Fish & Wildlife Service is conducting a market research survey for qualified Small Businesses capable of providing the required Construction services outlined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The applicable NAICS code is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and size standard $45 Million applies. The rough order of magnitude for the contraction project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Scope: See the attached SOW. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, supervision, testing, as-built information and all other related information should a formal solicitation be issued. Place of Performance: 227 Washington Ave., Lamar, PA 16848 Period of Performance: 390 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Experience: In order to be deemed a qualified source, your firm must have a verifiable a minimal of five (5) consecutive years of construction experience of self-performing the construction of similar design-build projects and projects with a similar rough order of magnitude. Interested firms must be able to present experience as the prime contractor over a design-build construction project coordinating both the management oversight of Architectural and Engineering design firms and construction activities. Instructions: Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email) and received no later than 5:00pm (EST) on Monday, April 15, 2024. No telephone inquiries will be accepted and no additional information regarding the scope of work is available at this time. All responses to this notice must identify the Socio-Economic category of the small business respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's SAM.gov Unique Entity Identification Number. Interested firms will be required to monitor and respond to additional announcements SEPARATELY from this announcement without further notice from the Government when posted to SAM.gov.
