Type of Notice: Pre-Solicitation Notice Title: RFP # 12905B24R0008 � REMODEL OF BUILDING 92 & 66 Description: The Contractor shall provide a proposal for the remodel of building 92 & 66 at USDA ARS Range Sheep Production Efficiency Research Unit, Dubois, ID THIS IS AN INFORMATIONAL NOTICE ONLY The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Pacific West Area Office has a construction requirement for the remodeling of buildings 66 and 92 at USDA ARS Range Sheep Production Efficiency Research Unit, Dubois, ID. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation and supervision performing all required work in accordance with the plans and specifications for this requirement. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 the magnitude of this construction project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 USDA will issue a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract. The Request for Proposal (RFP), 12905B24R0008, may be issued on or around March 25, 2024. The requirement will be a 100% total small business set-aside, under NAICS Code 236220 with a size standard of $45,000,000. Information concerning the REE policies and procedures regarding the definitization of equitable adjustments for change orders under construction contracts and the time required for definitization of those actions per 15 U.S.C. 644 is available at https://www.ars.usda.gov/afm/apd/acquisitions/. Completion timeframe for the resulting contract is to be determined. The RFP will be accessible via https://sam.gov/ in the �Contracting Opportunities� section. Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the RFP package and any amendments. All offerors shall be registered with the System for Award Management Registration per FAR Clause 52.204-7 and 52.204-8. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored.
