- This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Background: The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, NCO 9 Network Contracting Office, on behalf of the Lexington VA is conducting market research through this source sought notice to seek sources to identify potential experienced businesses that are capable of meeting the requirements per the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The Government is seeking contractors with current or previous contracts providing uniform services for the Federal Government, local government, and/or private sector entities. Purpose and Objectives: Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. NAICS code: 812332 Size Standard: $47.0M NOTE: Respondent claiming SDVOSB and VOSB status must be registered and CVE verified in the Small Business Administration (SBA) VetCert Registry https://veterans.certify.sba.gov GENERAL INFORMATION: Title of Project: Facility Management Uniform Services Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in the attached SOW. The overall project purpose and objectives is to provide serviceable uniforms at both divisions of the Lexington VA Health Care System. This includes the Troy Bowling Campus and the Franklin R. Sousley Campus both located in Lexington, KY. The contractor must perform a site visit at both locations once per year. The contractor shall provide serviceable uniforms at the beginning of each period of performance annually. The contractor shall provide initial fittings and measurements 15 days after award of contract and/or when new employee is hired. The contractor shall launder and maintain uniforms, throughout each period. The contractor shall pick up, clean, and deliver uniforms on a weekly basis. A firm fixed-price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) is anticipated to be the award type for this requirement which will be for a five-year period. There will not be option years but ordering periods instead to allow for price escalation each year price in the resulting price quotes that will be solicited later when a formal solicitation is posted on SAM Contract Opportunities. The anticipated Period of Performance (POP) would be as follows: Base Period: 07/01/2024 06/30/2025 Ordering Period 1: 07/01/2025 06/30/2026 Ordering Period 2: 07/01/2026 06/30/2027 Ordering Period 3: 07/01/2027 06/30/2028 Ordering Period 4: 07/01/2028 06/30/2029 .
