Description
(i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with theformat in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii)This solicitation, 1240BD24Q0049 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) (iii)The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect throughFederal Acquisition Circular 2023-05.(iv)This procurement is set aside for Small Business Concerns. The NAICS code is 337910-Mattress Manufacturing and the Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees (vi)Description of Requirement: The Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest Ranger District is in the process of updating their staff bunkhouses. The current beds and mattresses are past their life expectancy and are in need of replacement. This requirement has multiple delivery locations in Washington and services to remove and dispose of 114 old mattresses will be a requirement. Technical Specifications: Procure the following in accordance with the salient characteristics provided. (114)twin mattresses, (13) Twin Box Springs, (17) twin bed frames and (134) twin protective bed covers. Delivery of these items will be for 6 locations within the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest. � � � � � � �The contractor is responsible for delivering the items into the houses. � � � � � � �The contractor must provide all equipment necessary to accomplish this task. � � � � � � �In addition to delivery of the new mattresses, box springs and bed frames into the houses, the contractor is� responsible for removing and disposing of (114) old mattresses. The Forest Service prefers to award (1) Firm fixed-priced contract to one vendor however, the Government reserves the right to split the order between multiple vendors if it is determined to be in the Government�s best interest to do so. In addition, while the Government�s intention is to award all items, it reserves the right to award less than everything listed in the Schedule of Items (either by not awarding certain line items or by awarding a smaller quantity of a particular item). (vii)� �Date(s) and Place(s) of Delivery and Acceptance � Multiple Delivery Locations, delivery FOB Destination before June 2024 Monday through Friday, between 7:00a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Please see attachment for details. �
