Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 6) is conducting market research through this Sources Sought Notice seeking sources for A1c Analyzer to be procured through a Cost-per-Reportable Result arrangement for the VA medical facilities in VISN 6. The requirement is for fully automated analysis systems at each site capable of directly measuring total Glycohemoglobin A1c Hemoglobin by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). A Virtual Vendor Day to be held sometime in May or June 2024 is being considered so that VA laboratory staff can view and ask questions about your A1c HPLC equipment. If you are interested in participating, please state so in your response and provide how much time would be needed to present and/or demonstrate your equipment. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 325413, with a Classification code of 6550. This is not a request for bids, quotes, or proposals. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses. The responses to this announcement will assist in socio-economic set-aside feasible. The Veterans Administration is required by Public Law 104-9 to give first priority to SDVOSB and VOSB concerns if there should be sufficient firms available to compete enter a set-aside. If insufficient veteran-owned and small business responses are received to establish the basis for setting this action aside for other than large business participation, then the action will be advertised as full and open competition, in which case, all interested parties responding shall be eligible to bid. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and all information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or a commitment by the Government to later publish a solicitation. Interested parties should submit with their response the following information no later than 10:00 AM EST April 10, 2024 and include POC information, FSS contract number (if applicable), business size and/or socioeconomic category, and whether you might be interested in participating in a possible Virtual Vendor Day.
