- Sources Sought Notice UPS and Battery Module Sources Sought #1120009-SS This is a Sources Sought notice Only.� This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. �This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only as part of USDA ARS market research and does not itself constitute an RFQ. Background The ARS Environmental Microbial and Food Safety Laboratory (EMFSL) in Beltsville, Maryland recently purchased a new high-performance computer server, which needs 18 kW power supply. We require an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and a battery module to provide backup power for this server. The power of the UPS should be at least 20kW to support the server and other components in the server system.
