- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE in support of the Canandaigua VA Medical Center in Canandaigua, NY for market research purposes only to determine the availability of potential businesses with capabilities to provide the requirement described below. Potential offerors are invited to provide feedback via e-mail to Lisa.Harris4@va.gov. Responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. All responses due by March 27, 2024, at 2:00 pm EDT. Potential contractors shall provide, at a minimum, the following information: 1) Company name, address, and point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, and SAM ID. 2) Anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220: Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. If you believe a different NAICS is more appropriate, please indicate with your response. Is your firm eligible for participation in one of the following small business programs? The Capabilities Statement for this sources sought is not expected to be a Request for Quotations, Request for Proposals, or Invitation for Bids, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach, but rather the Government is requesting a short statement regarding the company s ability to provide the services outlined below. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the capabilities statement. Submission of capabilities statement will assist our office in tailoring the requirement to be consistent with industry standards. The capabilities will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining to Set-Aside for the Small Business (SB) Community or to conduct as an Unrestricted Procurement. Other than small businesses may respond to this notice in the event the market does not indicate SB interest. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Note: Do not include Proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information in responses. Not responding to this Sources Sought does not preclude participation in any future or potential solicitation, or Request for Quotation. It is the intent of the VA to use the information gathered for market research purposes only. DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT: Boiler Plant Condensate Blowdown Piping Replacement GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Introduction: The Department of Veterans Affairs Canandaigua Medical Center (VAMC) requires a replacement of 25 rotted condensate blowdown piping. Place of Performance: VAMC Canandaigua 400 Ft Hill Ave Canandaigua, NY 14424 Background: The Contractor shall provide management, supervision, labor, parts, materials, tools, incidental engineering services, and transportation necessary to perform replacement of 25 rotted condensate blowdown piping. Performance Period and Delivery Date: Services are anticipated to be performed within 15 days of contract award. Work shall be performed during the business hours of: 8:00 am 4:30 pm Monday Friday (excluding Federal Holidays). II. WORK REQUIREMENTS: The Contractor shall provide management, supervision, labor, parts, materials, tools, incidental engineering services, and transportation necessary to perform replacement of 25 rotted condensate blowdown piping. III. TRAINING: The contractor shall ensure all Technicians involved with the condensate blowdown piping replacement shall have at least 5 years experience in the Mechanical field. Contractor shall ensure all certificates, licenses, and permits are kept current and valid. IV. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The vendor shall submit one invoice through the Tungsten pay system upon completion of this work.
