- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE; THE VA IS NOT SEEKING PRICING OR OFFERS. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 20, in support of the Puget Sound VA Healthcare System, is performing market research to compile data regarding: (1) The availability and capability of qualified small business concerns; (2) Identify if there are sufficient number of qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, HUB Zone 8(a), Women-Owned Small Business, or Small Disadvantaged Business, Small Business concerns relative to the subject North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code. Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate procurement method, including any set-aside decision. Respondents should clearly describe their capabilities to include management experience, equipment and personnel or the ability to obtain them. Furthermore, interested sources must also meet all requirements of Federal, State, and Local Municipal codes regarding operations of this type of service. The NAICS code assigned is: 334510 Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing The small business size standard is 1,250 employees. Not responding to this Sources Sought does not preclude participation in any future or potential solicitation, or Request for Quotation. It is the intent of the Portland VA Healthcare System to use the information gathered for market research purposes only. If a formal solicitation is released, it will be posted via the Contract Opportunies on Sam.gov. DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 20, is seeking sources that can provide ViewMate Z Intercardiac Ultrasound equipment for visualization of cardiac anatomy. An equal brand product will be considered as long as it has the same characteristics as listed below: Must operate on 115/120VAC Minimum Run-time Battery Life 1.5 hours Must include 1 year/12 month service warranty. Able to use with no additional certifications (such as x-ray certifications). Dimensions of full system to be a maximum of Footprint-20 W x 28.2 D x 62 H (51cm x 72cm x 157cm) Weight-160lbs (70kg) Unit must be on 4 wheels Must have full qwerty keyboard included with unit that can be cleaned and disinfected. 19in medical grade monitor included for real time viewing with a resolution of 1280x1024 Probes to be included must be P4-1C (Trans-Thoracic Transducer) and L8-3 (Linear Transducer) or equivalent. Unit must allow for 3 or more probes to be connected at the same time. Unit must utilize current, supported operating system (Windows 10 or equivalent) Unit must have the ability to connect to the VA network or pass all security requirements to be added to a secure network Unit must be fully DICOM compatible Unit must perform all relevant calculations and post processing Must be compatible with ViewFlex PLUS IC Catheter with the following specifications Catheter Length-9 F Introducer size- 10 F Insertable Length 90 cm Steering (Anterior/Posterior) +/- 120 degree Transducer type-64 element array Viewing Sector-90 degree The information above is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive, to indicate the quality of equipment that will be satisfactory.
