- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 6913G624Q300030 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation document and Incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-03, effective February 23, 2024. �The NAICS Code is 561730; the Small Business size standard is $8.5M. The U.S. Department of Transportation, John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center), intends to procure on a competitive basis, a contractor to provide mowing and string trimming services at the Aviation Weather Research Facility (AWRF) located in Joint Base Cape Cod, Sandwich, Massachusetts. To maintain accessibility to the field installations, the facility requires mowing and landscaping from May 2024 to October 2024, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and terms and conditions. CLINs/REQUIREMENTS The Government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order, as a result of this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. This notice is expected to result in a single award, subject to receipt of an acceptable quote.� Please provide a firm fixed price quote in accordance with the following Contract Line Items (CLINs), Statement of Work (SOW) and Wage Determinations. 00100 � Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, and fuel to complete Task 1 and Task 2 as described in the attached SOW and Figures Document. Tasks 1 and 2 shall be started on or after April 15, 2024, and completed by May 10, 2024. Quantity: 1 Unit: EA Unit Price: $_____________ Total Price: $_____________ 00200 � Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, and fuel to complete Task 3 as described in the attached SOW and Figures Document. Task 3 shall be completed during 5 separate occasions starting on May 6, 2024, and completed by September 27, 2024. Quantity: 5 Unit: EA Unit Price: $_____________Total Price: $_____________ INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS This combined synopsis/solicitation hereby incorporates all Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions and clauses contained herein. � Addendum to FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference. � An award will be made to the offeror whose offer is considered the best value to the Government, based on price.
