Description: 765 ABS/CONF is currently seeking sources and industry input for a requirement of a Crash Damaged and Disabled Aircraft Recovery (CDDAR) pneumatic aircraft lifting bags. The system must be compliant with Technical Order 00-80C-1 CDDAR Manual, and with 10 U.S.C. 2533a (the �Berry Amendment�). We request that any interested vendors of Berry Amendment compliant pneumatic aircraft lifting bags provide enough information to reflect the characteristics and specifications. Vendors that can provide multiple sizes of compliant lifting bags, please include the different sizes and lifting capacities that are available. Be sure to clearly identify the items by brand name, manufacturer, make or model number and include descriptions of compatible accessories required to operate the lifting bags.� This is not a solicitation announcement. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Quote, nor does it restrict 765 ABS/CONF to an ultimate acquisition approach. No contract will be awarded from this announcement and requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of market research being conducted by 765 ABS/CONF to determine the capability of potential sources. For the future acquisition of these items, vendors should be aware that only offerors which have active registration in the federal government�s vendor database, System for Award Management (SAM.gov) will be considered.
