This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued.    This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-03 / 02/23/2024.    The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 532490, with a small business size standard of $40 Million Dollars.    The Network Contracting Office 7 is seeking to Mobile PET/CT Lease for the Phoenix VA Medical Center located in Phoenix, AZ.    All questions regarding this RFQ must be in writing and may be sent by e mail to Charity.Cazee@va.gov. Questions must be received no later than March 22, 2024, at 12:00 PM PST (MST). No further questions will be accepted after that date and time.    All offers must be in writing and may be April 04, 2024, at 12:00 PM PST (MST). No further offers will be accepted after that date and time.  You are reminded that representatives from your company SHALL NOT contact any VA Medical Center employees to discuss this RFQ during this RFQ process. All questions and concerns regarding this RFQ shall be directed to the Contracting Officer.    SCHEDULE: BRAND NAME ONLY Contractor shall provide full leasing, preventative maintenance, and repair services for one mobile PET/CT scanner to the Veterans Health Administration, Phoenix VA Medical Center. The expected Period of Performance will be a minimum of two (2) months and no more that twelve (12) months. Per FAR 52.217-8 the Period of Performance can be extended beyond the initial twelve (12) months but not to exceed an additional six (6) months. FAR13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items: This is for a Brand Name Justification in accordance with FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items and specifically FAR 13.501 Special Documentation Requirements, where acquisitions conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, but still require a justification using the format of FAR 6.303-2.
