�A market survey is being conducted to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small business concerns to set this future project aside for them.� If your firm is a Small Business (SB), certified HUBZone, 8a, Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and you are interested in this project please respond appropriately. Project Title: Markland Lock and Dam Dewatering Rehab 2. Project Location (with physical address): Markland Lock and Dam 2760 US-42, Warsaw, KY, 41095 3. Project NAICS Code: 237990 4. Response Date: 03 April 2024 5. Short Project Description: The contractor will dewater Markland Auxiliary Lock. Contractor to transport maintenance bulkheads to site, make necessary repairs to bulkheads, install bulkheads, pump out lock chamber to dewatered condition, monitor lock and river conditions for duration of dewatering, install jacking guides to miter gates, raise miter gates, repair cracks in gates, replace miter gates contact blocks, rehabilitate miter gate anchor arms, rehabilitate miter gate pintle balls, replace miter gate fenders, rehabilitate miter gate operating machinery, rewater the lock chamber, transport maintenance bulkheads to original location. 6. Type of Action: Sealed Bid 7. Estimated Advertisement Date: 7/1/2024 8. Estimated Award Date: 8/20/2024 9. Estimated Performance Period: 468 days 10. Estimated Cost (PA, not CCL): $7,000,000.00 11. Criteria: a. Projects similar in scope to this project include: Machinery rehabilitation of lock, dam, or flood risk management sites; rehabilitation of dam or lock sites that include dewatering of site; repairs of hydraulic steel structures in situ; floating mooring bit replacement. �b. Projects similar in size to this project include: Lock is 600� x 110�. Project includes repair of four miter gate leafs, contractor must be able to perform work on multiple gate leafs at the same time to meet schedule restrictions.�� 12.
