Sources Sought Only - Medical Surveillance Services for Mississippi National Guard at various locations in Mississippi Solicitation Number: � ����������� Solicitation Pending Agency: ��������������������� ����������� Department of the Army Office: ����������������������� ����������� National Guard Bureau Location: ������������������� ����������� USPFO for Mississippi This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement, a market survey for information to be used for preliminary planning purposes. The information received will be used within the Mississippi National Guard to facilitate the decision-making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. The intent of the Sources Sought Synopsis is to identify Large Businesses and potential, SBA qualified Small Businesses capable of providing for these services.� Small Business categories include: Small Business�����������������������������������������������Small Disadvantaged Business Certified 8(a) Businesses� ����������������������� �����SBA certified HUBZone Small Businesses, Women-Owned Small Businesses������������ ����Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The Sources Sought Synopsis is one facet in the overall market research conducted by the Government to determine the best acquisition approach for this requirement, whether the proposed solicitation will be issued as a competitive set-aside, 8(a) Sole Source, or as a large business. �No procurement strategy will be determined based solely on the information received in response to this Sources Sought Synopsis. �No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. �This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research.� Respondents will not be notified of the results of this market research.� The Mississippi Army National Guard (MSARNG) Occupational Health Program encompasses providing job-related medical examinations. Exams are performed to identify any health ailments precluding an individual from performing the essential functions of their position and making medical recommendations regarding placement, accommodation, and exposure controls. The classification of medical examinations include: Pre-Placement / Pre-Employment Medical Surveillance Periodic Termination / Retirement Fitness for Duty Audiologist Evaluations Health Assessments include but are not limited to:� General Medical�������������������� Lab Tests������������������������������� Pulmonary����������������������������� Audiology������������������������������� Vision This requirement is in support of the Mississippi Army National Guard (MS ARNG) Occupational Health Program in accordance with the Occupation Safety and Health Association (OSHA) and other regulations. Contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to provide medical testing and physical exams for MS National Guard employees and potential employees in the Mississippi area.� Place and Performance: The contractor shall provide services at designated MSARNG facilities, utilizing contractor supplied mobile clinic/bus.� Services will be conducted between the hours of 0700-1500 Monday through Friday, except on recognized US holidays. Performance shall be at locations within Mississippi. The USPFO for Mississippi ultimately intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) for medical services; Task Orders issued under the proposed medical IDIQ will be performed at various locations within the state of Mississippi.� It is anticipated the awarded contract will have a five (5) year ordering period.� The Mississippi National Guard seeks to find sufficient businesses to meet the requirement; small businesses are preferred. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621999- All Other Misc Ambulatory Health Care Services.� The Small Business Side Standard of $15.0 million and a PSC Code of Q999 � Medical-Other.
