- Description
- Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source to Rolls-Royce plc. Aircraft Availability Centre, Lombard, (SinA-54) Victory Rd, Derby DE24 8BJ, UK +44 (0)1332 246505 This particular brand name is essential to the requirement and market research indicates similar products do not meet or cannot be modified to meet agency needs. This contractor, Rolls-Royce, is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The Rolls Royce Care and digital download provides an electronic version of all of the Tay 611-8 engine maintenance manuals and is necessary for operations away from AOC home base at Lakeland, FL. It is a FAR Part 91 requirement to reference the most current aircraft manuals. The current subscription services expire on December 31, 2021. AOC requires up to date Tay engine manuals and technical publication services including access to the Rolls-Royce Care website. The manuals and website are a requirement for using the G-IV engines in flight as well as effective troubleshooting of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance evolutions by AOCs maintenance team. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Rolls Royce, is the only vendor capable of providing these technical publication services, which includes access to their proprietary website. Obtain Rolls Royce Tay 611-8 engine technical publication revision renewal subscription supporting NOAA Gulfstream-IV aircraft N49RF. This service will provide NOAA maintenance professional access to the required technical publications and instructions to diagnose, troubleshoot and potentially repair the engine specific components currently installed on the aircraft.
