- The purpose of this solicitation amendment is to provide answers to questions from industry. How many stories are the buildings? Main Building - B330 9 (Tower Complex) B115 - 2 B126 - 3 B127 - 1 B128 - 1 B310 - 3 (Part of the Tower Complex) B315 - 2 B320 - 2 B340 1 (Part of the Tower Complex) B341 1 (Part of the Tower Complex) B408 - 2 B409 - 3 B410 - 3 B411 - 2 B350 - 1 I was wondering if I have to register for the site visit outside of signing in with Police Services? There is no need to register for the site visit prior to the date. Are both window surfaces to be cleaned? Only Exterior (outside) side of the windows are to be cleaned. Do high rise buildings have structural anchors to support scaffolding? The only high rise building we have is the tower (9 stories). We are currently checking with the engineering department for this question. The details will be in a forthcoming amendment. What is the maximum height of each building? See above question 1 Are there any atriums? What is their height above a stable work surface? Building 330 Level is between 1 and 1 1/2 stories high Building 340 Level is between 1 and 1 1/2 stories high Who is the incumbent? The incumbent vendor was NC Highmaintenance, LLC. What is the annual value of the current contract? $219,889.00 Total (B+4 OY) Are you able to share with me the dollar amount the previous contractor charged Please see #8, I can only provide the total contract value. Can you provide the blueprint of all buildings that will need attention? The Engineering department can provide documents including drawings, site elevations etc. Please let me know what exactly you are looking for and I will provide the documents in a separate solicitation amendment once documents are gathered from engineering department. Can please provide the square footage of all buildings that need to be attended to? Square footage is not applicable to this requirement as the work requested is to clean exterior windows only. Do you know how many skylights there are? None at the present time. In regard to the site visit, do we provide contact information of attendee beforehand or show up following the procedures detailed in the solicitation? Please see #2 above the purpose of this email is to ask if the subject solicitation is available to be bid on at this time because it does not have a SF 1449? Yes, The solicitation is open for offers. Submission of your response shall be received not later than 1:30 PM EST on 4/1/24 at Joshua.kovar@VA.gov All questions SHALL be submitted no later than 3/25/2024 by 13:30 (1:30 PM EST) via email. Phone queries will not be entertained. Any questions received after this deadline may not be answered. We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services. Please see #7 If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number? Please See #8 36C25019P0019 Is the subject solicitation Number 36C25024Q0402 available to be bid on at this time because it does not have an SF 1449 or are we expected to use our own format? Please see # 14 above, you can use your own format as long as the items requested in Section E are met. Who is the incumbent? Please see #7 What was the last award amount with all options executed? Please see #8 When do you plan to award this contract? We plan on awarding this contract before 5/1/24, the actual performance for this requirement as stated in the PWS would be scheduled in the months of June and November. regarding the certificate for ""LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING"", I wanted to confirm if there were any deviations that could occur on this specification. There are no deviations to the current rule at this time.
