- Description
- Q. I know it says technician to perform monthly maintenance but it also says technician needs to be on site 5 days a week. So this is for a full time tech to be onsite at place of performance 5 days a week every week or just ON CALL for 5 days a week? The (monthly) preventative maintenance is typical for any given individual wheelchair but there are many wheelchairs that would be serviced continuously as preventative maintenance not to mention the repairs for any broken or non-functioning ones. The technician must be full time (7:00AM-3:30PM) and be onsite 5 days a week to serve at the place of performance. How many of each would fall under this notice (list of units provided)? How many manual wheelchairs _? How many electric wheelchairs_? How many shower commodes_? The service is available to all non-ambulatory patients, including inpatients and outpatients, hence there is no specific number. Would there be a space provided to keep tools/parts/etc onsite? Yes, there will be a designated room/space to keep the tools and parts along with housing any wheelchairs that are being worked on.
