- The Centers for Disease Control is issuing Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) Number 75D301-24-R-72894. The NAICS code for this BAA is 541715, Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology) with a size standard of 1,000 employees. This BAA is open and in effect for 35 days from the date of issuance (February 9, 2024 - March 15, 2024). THIS IS AN IMMEDIATE CALL FOR WHITE PAPERS. Prior to submission of a white paper, offerors are strongly encouraged to contact the CDC BAA Technical Point of Contact for the research topic/subtopic of interest. (a) White papers must be received electronically by 3:00 PM EST on March 15, 2024 in order to be considered for further evaluation. Interested vendors are responsible for submitting white papers to the electronic Contract Proposal Submission (eCPS) website at https://ecps.nih.gov/ and received by the date and time specified in the announcement. Offerors must use this electronic transmission method. No other method of white paper submission is permitted.� Amendment 1 -�02/20/2024:� The purpose of Amendment 1 is to update the primary Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) solicitation document.� A revised document entitled ""A19. 75D301-24-R-72894 - Amendment 1 - 02.20.2024.pdf"" is uploaded.� Revisions are as follows: NCEZID Topic 9 and Topic 11 are cancelled.� See pages 2, 6, and 15-18. The end date/time for white paper submission is corrected on page 25 to 3:00 PM Eastern on 03/15/2024. The anticipated start date for awards is prior to 09/30/2024, as updated on pages 27 and 28. Amendment 2 - 03/14/2024:� No solicitation documents are revised/updated.� Offerors are reminded that �[t]he white paper can be no more than 4 pages in length, all inclusive.� Any white paper response that exceeds 4 pages may be considered ineligible for evaluation.�� See A19. 75D301-24-R-72894 - Amendment 1 - 02.20.2024.pdf, page 6.� White papers must not exceed four (4) pages total.� A cover page and/or table of contents will count against the limitation and are not requested for white papers.
