Description

Subject: Pre-Solicitation notice � Terrazzo Flooring Refurbishment Ref: 19SW8024Q0013 The Embassy of the United States of America in Stockholm intends to issue a request for quotations (RFQ) for The U.S. Embassy Stockholm that has a requirement to refurbish the terrazzo flooring at the U.S Embassy Stockholm. This is a Modernist building protected for its cultural and historic value under the Swedish Environmental Code and is listed on the Department of State�s Bureau of Overseas Buildings List of Significant Properties. All work shall be conducted according to globally accepted conservation standards for the treatment of culturally significant properties. Only companies specializing in this field of work with valid permits and experience should apply for a solicitation package. The issuance of the solicitation package is anticipated to be on 25th March, 2024. The site visit for this project will take place on 25th April 2024, 10am local time. The bid due date and time for this RFQ will be on 2nd May 2024, 11:00am local time. Interested parties should contact the Stockholm Procurement Team by email at STKgsocontracts@state.gov in order to receive the solicitation package using; 19SW8024Q0013 Terrazzo Flooring Refurbishment in the subject line. Details to be provided by the company are: � Name and address of company � Name of requestor and designation � Contact details � email address and phone number Bidders must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submission. Registration information is available in https://www.sam.gov As registration may be a lengthy process, interested bidders should initiate the registration as soon as possible. The resultant SAM number must be provided with the proposal submission. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract that is the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. We intend to award a contract based on initial bids, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the comparison range if there is a need to do so.
