Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source Notice for Data Visualization and Storage Service The USDA has a requirement for Data Visualization and Storage Services to present interactive visual data for USDA�s quarterly AG release and is compliant with the Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Standards 936 CFR 1194) of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. The National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) produces agriculture statistics that are used by industry and educators across the Nation. NASS conducts hundreds of surveys and the Census of Agriculture and prepares reports covering virtually every facet of U.S. agriculture -- production and supplies of food and fiber, prices paid and received by farmers, farm labor and wages.� In addition, NASS' various Field Offices (FO's) publish data about many of the same topics for local audiences.� NASS publications cover a wide range of subjects, from traditional crops, such as corn and wheat, to specialties, such as mushrooms and flowers; from calves born, to hogs slaughtered; from agricultural prices to land in farms. This contract will provide expert geoinformatics personnel that will work with NASS to maintain the use of interactive statistical graphics on our external website to help to improve the interpretability and applicability of the data we produce. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 541511 Custom Computer Programming Services standard size $34 million. Period of Performance: Base - 05/01/2024 through 04/30/2025 Opt. Yr. 1 - 05/01/2025 through 04/30/2026 Opt. Yr. 2 - 05/01/2026 through 04/30/2027 Opt. Yr. 3 - 05/01/2027 through 04/30/2028 Opt. Yr. 4 - 05/01/2028 through 04/30/2029 Requirement Description: See Statement of Need Anticipated Date of Award: 03/15/2024 THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Vendors that believe they can provide the services listed above are invited to submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
