The Radios must posses the capability to integrate with currently waveform anti jamming programs such as SATURN (Second generation Anti-jam Tactical UHF Radio for NATO) and frequency hopping systems such as HAVE QUICK. The listed requirements represent the performance drivers facilitating the use of the radios. The ability to meet all customer requirements and integrate into the MVPs without additional software updates and patches is necessary to ensure seamless integration with minimal impact to mission support: - UHF/VHF capable in same unit - Fully VoIP capable voice and command and control - Must be Have Quick and SATURN capable - Must have Cipher Text mode capability - Must Integrate with the Compunetix Mission Voice Platforms (MVPs) The Ranges UHF/VHF radio system must be designed and built in collaboration and pass Edwards Air Force Communication system requirements and seamless integration with the Ranges Audio Switching System (RASS). The system must be compatible with our IP Network and our VoIP communication system, it must natively support G7.11 codec for audio streaming, connect via ethernet be compatible with Compunetix KYOIP and have minimal footprint. THIS IS A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPISIS. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SYNOPSIS IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.). PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. 1. Purpose. This is a sources sought synopsis in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force to identify potential sources able to provide this system. This product supports Edwards Mission Voice Communications System that connects multiple voice communication devices together forming a single network. The system provides the ability to connect a subset of these devices into logically segregated voice conferences, as determined by the System Operators/Administrators using the applications built into the Operations Administrative Maintenance & Provisioning (OAM&P) client workstation(s). Each radio voice conference creates a logical boundary between devices selected to be conference members, and those devices external to the conference. Audio that is transmitted on a conference will be heard by all participating conference members. Ultra High Frequency/Very High Frequency (UHF/VHF) radios, using ethernet interfaces can be joined into any conference to allow users to communicate with assets in the air and on the ground both locally and from off-site locations. The UHF/VHF radios shall have the capability to be quickly reconfigured in time to support the communications requirements of various missions. These configuration changes shall be made from the same user interface that controls the Mission Voice communications system for ease of use and timeliness of fulfillment. 2. Requirement. This acquisition is seeking a contractor that can provide the range radios shall be capable of operating in the DoD UHF and VHF band. The range radios shall support Voice over IP (VoIP) as the primary communication protocol between equipment throughout the distributed system topology. The radio equipment shall natively support G7.11 codec for audio streaming with VoIP compatible systems and devices. The range radios shall integrate with the Compunetix Mission Voice Platform (MVP) client software. This integration shall include the capability to change the current transmit/receive UHF/VHF frequency and monitor status information from the radio to include up/down status, frequency, carrier, mode (plaintext/ciphertext), and Push-To-Talk (PTT) status. The range radios shall support interoperability with external communications devices and circuits through the use of Ethernet. The range radios shall supply copper RJ-45 physical layer interfaces for connectivity external communication networks. The range radios shall support the HAVE QUICK/SATURN capabilities. The range radios shall support a minimal footprint to allow for three to five transceivers to be mounted in a four to six Rack Unit (RU) space. The range radios shall incorporate the necessary interfacing capabilities required to support the operations of encrypted UHF/VHF radio communications between end users. This requirement shall be accomplished using KY58/KY100 encryption devices. The Range Radios shall incorporate the necessary interfacing capabilities required to support the operations of encrypted UHF/VHF radio communications through the Compunetix Mission Voice Platform (MVP) system. This requirement shall be accomplished using the Compunetix KY over Internet Protocol (KYoIP) device. 3. Information requested. The Government requests interested offerors that can fully support this requirement furnish the following information: - Company name, address, points of contact, phone numbers and e-mail addresses. - Information should include a brief description of experience in providing the type of support described above. Please include contract references relating to research and engineering expertise to include: contract number; agency supported, period of performance, original contract value, and Point of Contact (POC) with current phone number.
