RFQ 36C24224Q0411 AIR MONITORING SERVICE BROOKLYN VAMC This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government reserves the right to make no award from this solicitation. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ). The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-95. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541620. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 2, is soliciting offers from Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) to provide AIR MONITORING SERVICES for RENOVATION. Respondents to this solicitation must fully demonstrate their capability by supplying detailed quote information along with any other documents necessary to support the requirements below. Any request for information (RFI s) are to be submitted by email by March 18th, 2024 11:00 am EST to Charlie.Augustin@va.gov . The magnitude for of this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000 Offers are to be provided to Charlie.Augustin@va.gov no later than 11:00am EST Friday, March 22nd, 2024. Scheduled Site Visit Attendance at site visit is not mandatory but highly suggested. Date: Wednesday March, 13th 2024 11:00 am EST Location: Brooklyn VA Medical Center, 800 Poly Place, Brooklyn NY 11209 Engineering building, engineering conference room Building 2, G-17 Point of Contact: COR- John Situ john.situ@va.gov 212-686-7500 Description of Work: Provide Environment control service in air monitoring / air-sampling technician throughout the duration of asbestos abatement (of pipe insulation) to the existing Renovation Patient Ward 15West (Approximately of 1,200 LF) and the 14 West (approximately 600 LF) located at the Main building for the Veteran s Affairs Medical Center, 800poly place, Brooklyn, NY 11209. This work shall include all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision but not limited to: Conduct Environment control Service in air monitoring / air-sampling technician throughout the duration of asbestos abatement process with the following: Provide professional service in air monitoring / air-sampling. (Minimum of 20 PCM sample collection and Analysis per shift) Provide Senior Project Manager & to be on site. Air Monitoring Service to be performed By-Shifts and based on construction Phasing plans. Oversee the contractor s workers and work practices to ensure that the project is performed according to applicable codes, rules, and regulations as they pertain to asbestos abatement. Privacy Training for contractor without access to VA Sensitive Information All contractor employees and subcontractors participating under this contract are required to complete the VA's Privacy training requirement - VA Privacy Training for Personnel without Access to VA Computer Systems or Direct Access to or the Use of VA Sensitive Information Contractors must provide certifications of completion to the COR during each year of the contract.  Training expires 365 days after the training is taken.  This requirement is in addition to any other training that may be required of the contractor and subcontractor(s). The COR for the contract is responsible for ensuring the contractor takes the training and to follow up with the annual requirements. Completion time: Thirty Shift (30) Business Day (Estimated)
